This stage is designed as a “recovery day” within The Sacred Trilogy — a chance for you to reconnect with your breath, your legs, and the landscape after the challenges of Olympus.
The route is a gentle 20 km trail, with a 995-meter elevation gain, set in the nearby picturesque mountain village of Agios Panteleimonas. Most of the trail runs through shaded forest, protected from the sun and surrounded by the sounds and scents of nature. The terrain is soft and rolling — a welcome contrast to the technical demands of the previous two days — allowing the body to heal while still moving.
But this stage is more than active recovery: it is an invitation to discover one of the most iconic and authentic mountain villages in Greece. With its stone houses, cobbled alleys, and panoramic balconies overlooking the Aegean Sea, Agios Panteleimonas feels timeless — a place to slow down and simply enjoy being there.
You will have ample time to relax in the village after the finish, enjoying traditional coffee shops, homemade treats, and breathtaking views. For those who prefer to continue their recovery with a dip in the sea or some time by the pool, transfers back to the beachfront hotel in Platamonas will be available throughout the day.
This stage is not about racing — it is about reconnection, recovery, and reward.
