Companion Package

Great journeys are even more meaningful when shared. That is why Mythical Odyssey warmly welcomes companions of registered runners (strictly age 18+) to be part of the adventure.

While the runners tackle the trails, companions will enjoy a carefully curated program:

• Exploring picturesque villages, ancient sites, and coastal landscapes
• Joining visits to select aid stations to cheer and support their runner
• Experiencing the same camaraderie and community spirit that makes Mythical Odyssey unique

Companions will be guided by our English-speaking team, sharing accommodation logistics with their runner, and moving at a more relaxed pace. The focus is on discovery, support, and connection — so every companion feels part of the odyssey.

The fee includes:

Ground Transfers

• Transfer from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Meteora on Arrival Day.
• All stage-to-stage race and hotel transfers during the event.
• Transfer from Mount Pelion to Athens International Airport (ATH) on Departure Day.

Accommodation (8 nights)

• 8 nights in carefully selected 3–star hotel (Platamonas) and 4-star hotels (Meteora and Mount Pelion), based on twin-share basis.

Meals

• Breakfast and dinner daily (8 days).
• Snacks and drinks at the finish line of Stage 1, 3 and Stage 6 when cheering and supporting the runners to celebrate the milestones of their mythical journey.

 Cultural & Historical Experiences

• Guided visit to the Battlefield of Thermopylae.
• Guided visit to the Digital Projection Centre of Meteora. 
• Guided visit to selected monasteries in Meteora.
• Guided visit to Litochoro, a picturesque town at the foot of Mount Olympus.
• Option to explore hiking trails of Mount Olympus.
• Guided visit to Palaios Panteleimonas, a beautifully preserved traditional village at the foot of Mount Olympus.
• Guided visit to selected charming villages across Mount Pelio.
• Swimming and cheering the runners as they finish their last stage at the cinematic village where Mamma Mia was filmed – Damouchari Beach.

• International and domestic flights to/from Athens (ATH).
• Visa fees or travel documentation costs (if applicable).
• Lunches and snacks (except provided at aid stations and Stage 1/3/6 finish line drinks and snacks).
• Meals, drinks, or room service outside of included breakfasts and dinners.
• Alcoholic beverages (not included in standard meal packages, Welcome Dinner, Award Ceremony, or Farewell Dinner).
• Tips/gratuities for hotel staff, drivers, or restaurants.
• Other optional services.
• Personal travel and medical insurance (mandatory).
• Laundry services, minibar charges, or other hotel extras.
• Optional extension programmes (pre- or post-race tours/holidays).
