Professional Background

Argy is a UK-based Consultant in Emergency Medicine, currently practising at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. He has over 15 years of experience in emergency care, managing a wide spectrum of acute and complex presentations across all age groups.

His clinical background is further strengthened by formal training in Trauma and Orthopaedics, which he completed prior to transitioning into Emergency Medicine. His extensive personal experience in extreme endurance environments gives him a deep, practical understanding of the physical and psychological demands placed on athletes during multi-stage events.

Role at Mythical Odyssey

As both Race Director and part of the medical team, Argy provides senior clinical oversight across all stages of the event. He works closely with the medical and operational teams to ensure a safe, well-coordinated environment for all participants, combining medical expertise with first-hand experience of endurance racing.
